Is it a funny coincidence that while I was on the bus coming back home from school I was once again thinking of making the new account because I absolutely hated my username? Well, I'm absolutely completely satisfied with my account now, thank you so much deviantART staff for making this possible!!

Reason for name change:
Celestialdragonsoul was a name made when I had just turned 12, when I first joined deviantART... which was about two years ago. It had a lot of negative connotations connected with that time period and my artwork at that time, not to mention it sounds silly and is way way too long to be sensible! As I've grown as an artist over time, I've often thought about moving to a new account to 'start a new leaf' and to get rid of my naive name.

Why do I think a username is so important? It's mostly because I think on the internet your screen name is pretty much a kind of 'face' or 'identity'. Since people can recognize your face in real life, they often recognize you only by your face and physical attributes, whereas on the internet, your screenname and profile IS your 'face' in a way, it's how people will recognize you!

Syphellium is as many people already know, my online 'character' and a name a lot of people associate with me. Besides from deviantART, the name 'Syphellium' is where people will ALWAYS find me. I did not exactly choose it, more like it sort of morphed into a screenname people associate with me, and I'm ok with that actually because it's.. kind of unique? Baseline: People recognize my profile online through the name 'Syphellium' or on furaffinity, Syphelium (... for some reason the word 'hell' is banned in usernames..)

TL;DR,
Celestialdragonsoul is the identity and label for a 12 year old noob that wanted to draw dragunz.
In my opinion, names is the main way people recognize you online. That's why it's very important!
Syphellium is a name associated with me pretty much on every single website I'm on. Since dA is one of my main online profiles, I find it is only natural and necessary I should be recognized as Syphellium on here.

Life update
Third term of school in progress, nearly the end! I'm working on art every chance I get and I'm really sorry if I'm slow :c The third term is usually the very very busiest (being the time when grades and major exams are held..) and thank god it's nearly done! Summer holidays start in late June and I'll be much much more active then and towards mid-June!

Annnd I'll be attending the HONG KONG ART FAIR 2012 TOMORROW, it was great last year and I think it's going to be even better this year! This is a slim chance, but if anybody wants to meet up, perhaps we can have a chat there? I'll be there from 4-7pm (HK time)! I will also be going to the Picasso exhibition soon, thanks to my mom c:
