So a few months ago I finally saved up enough to purchase my first set of copic markers! This was the first 'proper' test I did, and I love them! This horse sketch was done slightly more than a month ago, I didn't have time to upload it till now. Ignore the edges, I used masking tape to stick it into my A5 sketchbook. I love how the markers feel, and I hope with practice I'll be able to blend them better c: Ergh... horrid scan >_<
More art coming soon! I've got a ton of stuff I need to scan and a whole bunch of digital art that are in the final shading/coloring stages.
Also.. maybe the first time you guys have seen me draw a horse?
Critique welcome! I don't often draw horses, reference was used and I do know where I messed up. I'd prefer critique on technique rather than anatomy for this piece c: Thank you! ~Copic markers, Unipin fineliner 0.01, white gel pen, Canson Pro-Layout marker paper, 1-2 hours (c) Art to me, please do NOT use in any way thank you!
Syyyph you bought copics? And I think your horse is wonderful cx, though, no critique from me because I too do not draw horses >> What he/she holding, btw?
